2005 Grand Tour of Homes
The Home Builders Association of Lexington presented Pickett Homes with the following awards for its entry of the Belmont at the 2005 Grand Tour of Homes.

Merchandising: Home with the best interior visual appeal, wall treatments, floor covering, colors, textures, quality finish and interior lighting.

Master Suite Design (Bedroom & Bath): Master Suite with privacy from living areas, proper window placement, abundant closet space and proper location. Master Bath with a usable layout and location of cabinets and counter space, use of mirrors and lighting, quality of materials and craftsmanship including fixtures, tiles, and trim.

Kitchen Design: Kitchen with functional work area and design in the breakfast and dining area, lighting of work and eating area, appliances type & quality, cabinetry, design of work surface, and special design features including pantry, desk, woodwork, and molding.

Floor Plan: Home with the best first impression, spaciousness, overall traffic flow of living areas, access from bedrooms to bathrooms, efficient use of space, accessibility of exterior living areas, suitable size of rooms for furnishing, and special design features.

Site Presentation: Home with the best street trees, street lighting, interior signage, mailboxes, and pedestrian access.

Overall Design: Home with the best workmanship, value, and general impression.

Exterior Design: Home with the best visual appeal, balance of design, proportion of structure, detailing and use of material, special features and quality finish.


2004 Grand Tour of Homes
